What to Expect
I know hiring a photographer can feel like a big decision, especially if you've never done this before. Here's exactly how the process works, from our first conversation to getting your final images.
The Process
We Talk About Your Vision
After you reach out, I'll respond within 24 hours (usually sooner). We'll hop on a quick call or exchange emails to discuss what you're planning, what you're hoping for, and any questions you have. This is where I learn about your vision and you get a feel for whether we're the right fit.
I Send You a Custom Proposal
Based on our conversation, I'll create a proposal tailored to your specific needs with exact pricing, coverage details, and what's included. No surprises, no hidden fees, just clear information so you can make the best decision.
You Book Through My Client Portal
If it feels right, you'll receive a contract and booking link through my client portal (powered by Picsello). A retainer secures your date, and we can set up a payment plan for the remaining balance.
We Plan Together
Leading up to your session or event, I'll help you plan the details. For portraits, that means location scouting, timing, and what to wear. For events, it's timeline coordination and shot lists. For weddings, it's comprehensive timeline planning to make sure your day flows smoothly.
The Actual Session/Event
This is where the magic happens. I'll guide you through everything, keep things relaxed and natural, and make sure you actually enjoy the experience. You won't feel awkward or posed, I promise.
I Edit Your Gallery
After your session, I carefully edit every image to bring out the best in each shot. This takes time because I'm meticulous about quality. You'll receive a curated gallery of professionally edited, print-ready images.
You Download and Enjoy
Your images are delivered through an online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints. You own the full printing rights, these are YOUR photos to use however you want.

Common Questions
What should I wear?
I'll send you a style guide after booking with specific recommendations based on your session type and location. General rule: wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable.
What if the weather is bad?
For outdoor sessions, we'll have a backup plan. I monitor the forecast and will reach out if we need to reschedule. Your comfort and the quality of your images matter more than sticking to a date.
Can we bring props or pets?
Absolutely! Props, pets, and personal touches make sessions more meaningful. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
How many photos will we get?
This varies by session type, but you'll always receive a fully edited gallery of every great shot. For portraits, typically 40-80 images. For weddings, 400-800+. Quality over quantity, always.
Do you retouch photos?
Every image is professionally edited for color, exposure, and overall look. Basic retouching (smoothing skin, removing blemishes) is included. Advanced retouching is available for an additional fee.
What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens. Contact me as soon as possible and we'll work together to find a new date. My cancellation policy is in your contract, but I'm reasonable and understanding.
Can we get the raw, unedited files?
Raw files aren't included because they're unfinished work. Think of them like ingredients before cooking, they don't represent the final product I want you to have. You're getting the professionally edited versions that look their best.
Do you travel?
Yes! I'm based in Murrieta but available throughout Southern California and beyond. Travel within the region is usually included. For destination work, we'll discuss travel fees upfront.
What Makes This Different
I'm not just showing up with a camera. Here's what sets this experience apart:
You're Not Just a Number
I limit how many sessions I take each month so I can give each client the attention they deserve. Your project isn't rushed, and I'm fully present.
You'll Actually Enjoy This
Most people dread being photographed. My approach makes it feel natural and fun. You'll forget the camera is there.
I Help You Plan
From timeline creation to location scouting to what to wear, I'm involved in the planning process. You're not figuring this out alone.
I Stay Calm
Things go wrong. Traffic happens. Weather changes. Kids melt down. I've seen it all and nothing rattles me. You'll have someone calm and solution-focused in your corner.
You Get Professional Quality
Years of experience, professional equipment, backup gear, insurance, and a meticulous editing process. You're getting the real deal.
